What is a Small Group?
Small groups typically consist of 10-12 people that meet in homes throughout the city for 10 weeks. The purpose of small groups is to grow in your relationship with God, build meaningful friendships, and serve others in our city! Most of the groups study a sermon based curriculum but some are special interest groups.
We have many different forms of small groups; some in homes, some for men only, some for women only and some on Sunday.
Why Circles of Greatness?
To ensure every member of GMZ has a small family of friends who inspire each other to live the Greater life!
We believe spiritual growth flows out of two basic commitments:
- A commitment to God and the Bible.
- A commitment to significant Christian relationships.
To help develop these relationships, we have created "Circles of Greatness"
It is our goal to have every member of our church involved in either a COG or another similar small group experience.
Check out what some of our current COG participants are saying:
"I love my small group."
"I love my COG. I hope we can all continue to cheer each other on in our Christian walk."
"I have grown spiritually since I've been a member of my COG."
"Being in a COG has allowed me to open up and let God use me in other people's lives."
